Please refer to this Department letters of even number dated 02.06.2022, dated 08.07.2022, dated 21.07.2022 and D.O. letter dated 25.08.2022. In this regard, a tentative zone of consideration (ZoC) for promotion (through DPC) to the PS Gr.B cadre for the vacancy year 2022 is enclosed at Annexure-I.
2 It has been observed that requisite information as per aforesaid letters is still awaited from Circles in respect of following officers:
2.1 Officers in “Tentative ZOC for the vacancy year 2021 for promotion to PS Gr.B cadre” at SI. Nos. 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 22, 27, 28, 29, 30, 33, 34, 35, 39, 40, 41, 42,43, 47, 49, 52, 54, 60, 62, 65, 68, 76, 77, 88, 93, 100, 103, 109, 110, 116, 117, 118, 122, 124,127, 130, 131, 140, 141, 142, 147, 148, 149, 151, 155, 159, 160, 161, 163, 164, 167, 169, 170,171, 175, 177, 178 and 180 to 198.
2.2 Officers in “Tentative ZOC (extended field of choice) for the vacancy year 2021 for promotion to PS Gr.B cadre” at Sl. Nos. 3, 9, 17, 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 34, 38, 39, 41, 43, 45, 46,51, 52, 55, 63, 65, 73, 77, 81, 84, 87, 96, 98, 100, 104, 105, 108, 109, 110, 111, 113, 117,
3. Further, a latest VC is also required in respect of all the officers mentioned in the tentative ZoCs for DPC for promotion to the PS Gr.B cadre. The Circles are requested that while furnishing latest VC, it may be ensured that these officers are actually working in IP line in the Circle as on date of issue of VC. If any officer in the above ZoCs has already been promoted to PS Gr. B Cadre through DPC/LDCE or not in IP Line due to VRS, death, deputation, dismissal etc., full details of such cases with relevant records may also be furnished.
4. The tentative ZoC-2022 has been prepared on the basis of seniority lists issued by SPN-II Section till date and name of the IP Line officials have not been included in the list as per details/remarks given in Annexure-II. Any discrepancy with regard to details of officers falling in the ZoC as available in the seniority lists of IP Line officials from year 2001 to 2005 w.r.t. their seniority, date of birth, place of posting, wrong remarks etc., may be intimated to SPN-II section of this Department. Circles/Units are requested to contact ADG (SPN), D/o Posts, New Delhi-110001 in case any official whose name is not found in the tentative ZoC-2022 or seniority lists of IP Line officials for the year 2001 to 2005.
5. If any officer included in the zone is working in any Circle other than the one indicated against his/her name in the tentative ZoC-2022, the concerned Circle, where he/she is presently posted may furnish the above information without referring the matter to this office.
6. It is requested to furnish the above information latest by 12.10.2022 in DG Bag addressed to ADG (SPG). A soft copy of the above information may also be sent on the email.
