Enable Barcode Scanner in PMA 3.1 Application – Samsung Mobile

The scanning of barcode through Samsung J2 mobile phones is not possible even after autofocus. We have tried with multiple barcode stickers but camera not working as scanner.
Application Version : PMA 3.1
Enable Barcode Scanner in PMA
  1. Restart Mobile at Once, Scan one Good Barcode in Daylight condition instead of using torch.
  2. Once one barcode is scanned, the scanner enabled and it  will start working.

Postman Mobile Application issue in Samsung J2 Mobile and Solutions

Attention all offices having scanning issue (where scanning was working properly earlier) in Postman App.

For Samsung J2 mobiles in which Google Play Service is already updated (to version 19.2.75), but it’s not scanning the articles properly, please try the below solution.

Take Settings (of the mobile)
Go to Application-> Application Manager
Click on Google Play Services
Click on Clear Cache
After clearing Cache, click on Manage Storage and then click on Clear All Data and then click OK to confirm.
After that take Postman app again. It may take to long to load. Then close all the running apps.
Now again take Postman app and it will do the scanning properly.

Steps to be followed in SAP & Postman Mobile Application

Steps to be followed in SAP & PMA 
This is regarding cash return from postman amount shown in negative for EMO paid transactions done through PMA . For EMOs invoiced through PMA the following steps needs to be followed before transferring the data to mobile.
1. After invoicing the articles and EMOs to postman, supervisor approval EMO and cash payment to Postman process needs to be completed before transferring the data from SAP to mobile.
Currently, many users are directly transferring the data from SAP to mobile without completing the supervisor approval and cash payment process. Similarly, while taking returns they transfer the data from mobile to SAP and same comes on EOD screen resulting in negative entries and non- tallying of TCB

Postman Mobile Application Issue

Dear Sir/Madam,
It is here by confirmed, that, the issue related to Postman Mobile App, can be raised through HDMS ticket system, as usual. Ticket should not be raised with Service Desk. Kindly direct the users to follow the same and direct them to close the tickets on PMA issues, raised at SD Portal (if any) and to raise the ticket in HDMS, for early resolution, Pl.

Data Not Reflecting in PMA MIS

In majority of the cases it has been found that beat master list downloaded from DPMS web placed in bridge application solves the issue. This is mentioned in FAQs also.
PMA user may be asked to stop and start communication in app atleast once in a day.
By reducing communication time to one minute, they can check themselves whether atleast one article is getting reflected in article tracking.
All the issues are explained in updated FAQs of PMA MIS website.
Users may be asked to go through FAQs.

If all the above fails user may be asked to provide app logs and app DB to following email IDs for further analysis and guidance.
