LSG Cadre Promotion of Postal Assistants – Delhi Circle

     The competent authority is pleased to promote the following Postal Assistant of Postal Side to LSG Cadre (General Line) on regular basis with immediate effect. Accordingly, the officials on promotion to LSG Cadre are allotted to the units/Divisions as mentioned against each.

2.1  Under the provisions of MHA OM No F-7/1180/Estt/F-1 dated 26.09.1981, the officials are entitled to an option to have their pay fixed from the date of next increment. Option in this regard may be exercised within the stipulated time of one month if applicable.

2.2   The pay and allowances of the LSG officials will be fixed as per provisions of FR-22 (1) (a) (i), if applicable.

3       In case of disciplinary/vigilance case pending against any official, he/she may not be promoted/relieved and matter be referred to this office for further directions. The officials against whom punishment is current, if any, may be relieved after expiry of such punishment.

4.      The LSG officials so promoted be relieved immediately. Request for change of unit/refusal for promotion, if any, be forwarded to this office within a month of receipt of this order.

5.       A compliance to the orders be made in the following proforma by 10.07.2020 to this office.

6.        Relevant Charge Report be sent to all concerned.

Part-A (Promotions)

             In accordance with orders contained in the Directorate letter no. 06-08/2010-SPB-II dated 02.01.2012 and No. X-20-24/2019-SPN-II(Pt) dated 07.10.2019, the competent authority has approved for promotion to the following Postal Assistants to the cadre of LSG(General) in Post Offices in Level-5 in the pay matrix of 7^th CPC and allotted to the Regions noted against his her name with immediate effect and until further orders:

2.    The Postmasters General, Kurnool / Vijayawada / Visakhapatnam Region are requested to issue necessary allotment orders to the divisions immediately to enable the Divisional Heads to issue posting orders as per the decision taken in RJCM meeting dated 05.03.2018 communicated in CO letter No.ST-II/1- 2/1/UNION/2017 dated 11.04.2018. On receipt of the posting orders, the officials may please be relieved to join in his / her promotional post in case there is no Vigilance / Disciplinary case pending against him / her as per the following schedule.

3.  The official should accept / decline the promotion unconditionally in writing within the above memtioned date. In case the official declines promotion, a letter declining the promotion unconditionally may please be obtained immediately and be forwarded to this office for its acceptance. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained. If he / she declines the promotion, they should note that they are not eligible for promotion to the cadre of LSG in Post Offices for a period of I (one) year either on regular or adhoc basis from the date of declination. Further the officials who decline promotion will not be considered for financial up gradation under MACP scheme, it’ any due, as per the existing rules / instructions till they accept promotion.

4.  If the official is drawing his/her pay in Level-5, Level-6 and Level-7 in the pay matrix of 7th CPC is not eligible for any pay fixation under the provisions of FR 22(1) (a) (1). If the official is not drawing the pay in the levels of pay matrix referred to above may exercise his/her option for pay fixation under the provisions of FR 22(I) (A) (1) within one month from the date of assuming the charge in the promoted post.

5.  No representation foc re-allotment will be entertained before joining in the new post in LSG cadre in the Region allotted. Hence, representations received from the officials for re-allotment before joining in the promotional post need not be sent to this office.

6.  These promotion orders are subject to re-verification of all the facts/information given by the Divisional Heads and the Divisional Head should personally check up the correctness of the information submitted and discrepancy, if any, noticed in respect of any official, the same should be reported to C.O. before issuing promotion orders.

Part-B(Re-allotments)

The competent authority has ordered the following re-allotments in the cadre of LSG(Potal) without TA/TP.
