A car crashed near Dand on Kaila-Dugli-Kainthali road of Churah sub-division in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh late on Sunday evening. In this, a couple including their son and daughter died. Four people were in the vehicle at the time of the accident. The accident took place on Sunday late evening.
The deceased were identified as Tilak Raj (46) son Lochhu Ram village Madoti post office Dugli, wife Ambika Devi (42) daughter Sumisha (15) and son Atul (18). It is being told that Tilak Raj was posted as superintendent in the main post office of Chamba. He was coming from Chauli to Chamba with his family.
During this the accident happened. Villagers reached the spot after hearing the sound of the car falling. As soon as the information was received, the police team reached the spot. Police have seized the bodies and are busy in completing the post-mortem formalities. SP Chamba Abhishek Yadav said that four people have died in the accident. Said that the post-mortem of the bodies would be done on Monday.

The competent authority has been pleased to declare the result of Postman and Mail Guard Examination-2021 limited to MTS and GDS held on 14.11.2021 at venue IHM Kufari Shimla, in respect of HP Circle for the vacancy year 2021.

3. The division wise list of the successful selected meritorious candidates is appended as Annexure-I to this Memo.
4. One vacancy identified for Person with benchmark Disabilities under Hard of Hearing (HH) category has been kept as unfilled in Mandi division due to non availability of qualified candidate. The SSPOs Mandi division Mandi will include this vacancy in the vacancies of the year 2022. The vacancy has been carried forward to next recruitment year as per instructions contained in DoP&T OM No. 36035/02/2017-Estt(Res) Dated 15.01.2018.
5. While preparing the present result, in case of bunching inter se rank/ merit has been decided as per seniority in lower cadre for MTS and as per date of birth for GDS candidates.
6. The present result is further subject to outcome of court/ CAT cases, correction of clerical mistakes, if any. The candidature/ selection of the selected candidates is liable to be cancelled if later on, it is found that the false information has been given by the candidates or candidate was not eligible due to any disciplinary/ criminal case against him/ her or otherwise. The result has been prepared on the basis of information furnished by the candidates and further verified by the Divisional/Units Heads. The concerned Divisional/ Unit Head are requested to carry out all required pre appointment formalities as per prevalent Rules and instructions issued from time to time. Before appointment, it should be ensured that no disciplinary/Criminal case is pending/ contemplated or no penalty is current against the above selected/ promoted candidates.

2. Syllabus :- The Syllabus for the examination will be as mentioned in Directorate letter no. 9-2/89-SPB-II dated 17.01.1990 (enclosed). Other rules and instructions on the subject, circulated from time to time should be followed.
3. Vacancy Position :- Vacancy position existing as on date in the Division should be intimated to this office within three days of receipt of this notification.
4. Eligibility conditions :- All the candidates who fulfill the prescribed conditions as per rule 273 of Postal Manual volume IV are eligible to apply for the examination.
The applicants should enclose two additional passport size photographs with their application and the photo affixed on the application should be duly attested by the Divisional Head concerned. The head of office concerned after obtaining the applicants from the candidates will scruitinize the same and forward the applications to this office along with his specific recommendation or otherwise. The information furnished in the prescribed applications forms by the candidates should be thoroughly checked up and verified with reference to their PF, Service Book or any other relevant records and then forwarded to circle office along with the prescribed proforma report, the specimen copy of which is annexed to this letter. Besides the above, while forwarding applications, Divisional Heads are requested to furnish a certificate in the prescribed form as mentioned in the bottom of each application.
The contents of this letter along with the copy of the application form may be circulated to all concerned. Any application not submitted in the prescribed form, not properly filled in by the candidate, not properly checked and verified by concerned Divisional/unit Head and after all not submitted in due time, is liable to be rejected at risk on concerned Division/Unit.
