The promotion of above officers is purely on ad-hoc basis at Circle level short term officiating arrangement for a period 11 months from the date of joining or until further orders, whichever is earlier. It will not bestow upon him any claim for regular promotion, confirmation or seniority in the grade to which he is promoted. The service rendered on ad-hoc basis will not count for the purpose of regular promotion in the higher grade for seniority in the said grade.
This ad-hoc promotion will be stood terminated automatically on joining of regular incumbent or on expiry of period of 11 months from the date of assumption of charge if not extended, whichever is earlier.

2. Instruction for joining process of candidates
All Head of Units of selected candidates as shown in Annexures are instructed to take necessary action for joining of newly selected candidates as Per Recruitment Rules. Joining process should be completed at an earliest. Divisional Heads are requested not to send separate letter of carrying out joining process / appointment letters to this section. Joining status will be called for separately in due course.
Any mistake in the Name of candidate, Roll Number, Community etc. may be brought to the notice of this office immediately and necessary correction may be made at your end.
3. Instruction for candidates who decline promotion.
3-1, If any candidate is unwilling to accept promotion he/she should submit application for unwillingness to the Divisional Head in prescribed performa (attached herewith) at the earliest.
3.2 Divisional Head will retain one copy and send the second original copy of unwillingness along with attestation to concerned Regional office.
3.3 Regional office will submit the unwillingness received from Divisions in one lot at the earliest.
4. In case, it is subsequently found that any of the qualified candidate(s) was not eligible to appear in the examination under the extant rules or instructions on the subject for any other reasons or in case any mistake is found with regard to announcement of the result of any candidates for any reason whatsoever, the same may be brought to the notice of Circle office, Ahmedabad immediately, so that his/her name could be deleted from the list of successful candidates, as the case may be. The result is also subject to any change in merit list of the successful candidates. This should be incorporated in the promotion / appointment letters issued.
5. The selection of the candidates is purely provisional subject to the fulfilment of required conditions of relevant Recruitment Rules & the verification of genuineness of various mandatory certificates of the candidates by the concerned head of the unit. In case any vigilance/Disciplinary case is pending against any of the officials, he/she should not be relieved for posting without obtaining specific orders from this office.
5. The result is prepared as per the guidelines received from Directorate and in accordance with the merit and preference exercised by the candidates. Therefore, no representation for re-allotment will be considered.

2. 53 fresh cases are put up before the committee duly complete in all respects as per Annexure – A.
3. 2 (Two) old cases which were not recommended by previous CCE dated 09.08.2021 due to non-availability of either computer certificate or computer certificate was not as per requirement & below qualification are also put up before the committee. (Annexure – B)
4. While examining these cases committee kept in view, the guidelines circulated vide Directorate lettet no. 17-1/2017-GDS dated 30/5/2017 & 18.12.2019 and other guidelines issued by Directorate on the subject from time to time. The committee also referred to the Directorate letter no. 17-12/201,8-GDS dated 31/10/2018. The committee has considered revised eligibility criteria for engagement to GDS posts issued vide Directorate letter no. 17/2-2018-GDS dated 08.03.2019.
5. The committee also considered the relaxation Provision as mentioned in Directorate letter no . 17-1/2017 -GDS dated 30/5/2017 .
6. Based on the above, committee has found 37 applicants eligible and has recommended for Compassionate Engagement. (Annexure – C)
7. Besides lQ Applicants are found ineligible and hence committee has not recommended those applicants for compassionate engagement. (Annexure – D)

2.1 Both papers will consist of theoretical questions and practical questions in the proporties of 1/3rd theoretical and 2/3rd practical questions. In both the portions, there will be some compulsory questions. Marks for theory portion will be 30 and those for practical portion will 70.
2.2 For O.C candidates, qualifying marks will be 45% each paper and 50% in the aggregate. SC/ST candidates will require 38% & 43% marks respectively for qualifying in each paper and in the aggregat.
3. Eligibility
Following officials of Post offices and RMS are eligible to appear in examination.
3.1 All clerks/Sorters who have not less than three years continuous service as clerks/Sorter on the last date fixed for the receipt of application i.e 14.10.2021 and have a consistently good record of service for the preceding three years.
4. As per guidelines contained in Directorate letter no 8-1/2016-SPB-II dated 19-02-2019, LSG officials are not allowed to appear in PO/RMS Accountant.
5. Each candidate will normally be allowed Three chances to appear in the examination, but in addition to this, a forth chance will be allowed provided that the candidate secures at least 35% in the aggregate in the third chance. A candidate, who does not fil for the examination after being given permission to do so, will be treated as having appeared and failed.
6. Centre of Examination: The Examination will be conducted at Ahemedabad. The candidates will have to appear from the centre of Circle only and under no circumstances, they be permitted to appear from other Circle centres
7. This notification may be given wide publicity amongst all eligible candidates working in Divisions/Units.

In view of spread of COVID19 in the month of April 2021 onwards and predictions for peak of second wave of COVID19 , personnel Division, New Delhi is working on revised guidelines for Rotational Transfer for the year 2021-22. In view of above, Orders of rotational Transfer not issued in your region/Unit may please be kept on hold till Revised guidelines are received from Directorate.
