Subject: Declaration of result of Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) from Postman/Mail Guard, Dispatch Rider and eligible MTS/GDS held on 24.10.2021 and DEST on 13.02.2022 for promotion to the cadre of PA/SA for the vacancy year 2021 in Chhattisgarh Circle.

Reference: CO Notification No. STA 11-11/2021/42 dated 13.09.2021

In pursuance of Circle Office, Raipur Notification cited under reference examination from Postman/Mail Guard, Dispatch Rider and eligible MTS/GDS for promotion to the cadre of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant for the vacancy year 2021 was conducted on 24.10.2021 and DEST on 13.02.2022, the result had been complied taking the scores of Paper-I as merit and both Paper-II and Paper-III (DEST) as qualifying for the purpose of selection.

Now the Competent Authority is pleased to announce the result of candidates who had appeared Limited Departmental Competitive Examination dated 24.10.2021, ad per followed by DEST dated 13.02.2021 as per details below:-

The selection of candidates in Annexure-I, I(A) & Annexure-III, III(A) are subject to fulfillment of all candidates of relevant recruitment rules for recruitment to the cadre of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant.

The Divisional Heads, before giving appointment to the selected candidates will see that, the newly selected candidates fulfill all required conditions of relevant Recruitment Rules. Also, the Division/Unit heads are advised to re-check the pre-requisite conditions prescribed for candidates, with reference to their recommendation made while forwarding the application forms.

i. Before appointment, it should be ensured that, no disciplinary/vigilance case is pending or contemplated or punishment is current against the selected candidates.

ii. The caste/tribe certification of the official belonging to SC/ST category who have been promoted to PA-SA cadre may be verified and it may also be ensured that caste/tribe of the officials belonging to SC/ST category are still figuring in the notified central list of Schedule caste/tribe before actually giving them promotion.

iii. In case, at any time, it is detected that the candidates so selected had applied and appeared the examination with false declaration of data, his/her selection will be cancelled without any notice.

iv. The surplus qualified candidates, allotted against unfilled vacancies of other Divisions should be informed that, they are not eligible for repatriation to their parent Divisions before completion of probation period as laid down for transfer under Rule-38 of Postal Manual Volume-IV.

Divisional heads are requested to get the candidates joined at the earliest and declination if any received from the selected candidates be furnished to this office for further action.
