Sub: Request to stop aadhar and biometric based work in Maharashtra Circle- reg

The circle secretary of NAPE group C of Maharashtra Circle vide his letter NAPE/COVID-19/aadharsuspension dated 22.03.2021 Mumbai dated 22.03.2021 has requested the CPMG maharastra circle to immediately stop the aadhar work and all biometric based work due to sudden spurt in COVID Cases. The copy of the letter is enclosed.

It is said that there is second wave of COVID19 in Maharashtra state and every day there is alarming increase in COVID Cases. The government of Maharashtra has imposed many restrictions and night curfew has been imposed. Under the circumstances to carry out aadhar work will be threat to the lives of Postal Staff.

There is every possibility that the persons engaged in such works could easily be infected and also such Officials may be potent mode of spreading the deadly virus. Therefore, it is requested to issues suitable directions to the CPMG maharastra circle to suspend Aadhar and all biometric based works till the threat of the virus is receded.

Aadhaar Client – Failed to Sync Operator details with Server. Please try again – Solution

What might be the issue in Operator Sync failure even no issue with UIDAI server?

Operator Sync failure with Server due to using of revoked version of 3.3.4.2.94-1 which was revoked on 20.01.2021.

Aadhaar Error : Failed to Sync Operator details with Server. Please try again

The above error noticed in the Aadhaar Enrolment Client version 3.3.4.2/94-1 or below versions during operator sync. It was intimated by UIDI in the subject revocation of version 94.
There is no issue with Sync aadhaar Operator details in the version 3.3.4.2/95-1 and the version 3.3.4.2/96-1.
If any one using the version below 3.3.4.2/95-1, Please upgrade immediately to overcome the sync operator details problem with UIDAI Server.

UIDAI allows Aadhaar updation facility through CSCs – Update

In a major relief to those living in rural areas, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has allowed the Common Service Centre, an SPV under the Ministry of IT and Electronics, to begin the Aadhaar updation facility at their 20,000 CSCs which operate as Banking Correspondents (BCs), said Union Minister for Communications, MEITY and Law and Justice Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad in a tweet.

Union Minister tweeted that around 20,000 CSCs will now be able to offer this service to citizens. He urged the CSC VLEs to start the Aadhaar work with responsibility and as per instructions issued by UIDAI in this regard. He further said that this facility will help a large no of rural citizens to get Aadhar services closer to their place of residence.

UIDAI has set June deadline for the commencement of the work after CSCs with banking facilities upgrade their required infrastructure and get other necessary approvals. However, CSC CEO Dr Dinesh Tyagi said he has asked all BCs to immediately finish technical and other upgradation which the UIDAI has asked for so that Aadhaar updation work can be started soon.

Thanking the Union Minister Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad for getting Aadhaar updation work restarted through CSC, Dr Tyagi said it would further strengthen the efforts of achieving the goals of “Digital India” as envisaged by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

Commencement of Aadhaar update services through CSC also comes across as a big relief during the lockdown restrictions imposed to prevent spread of COVID19. With these 20,000 additional centers available to update Aadhaar, the users particularly in rural areas need not visit Aadhaar centres in bank branches or Post Offices for this work.

As you aware, public used to ask different types of queries, doubts, guidelines, etc., in counter with respect to Aadhaar services.

To understand the issues of residents from their side and to give fruitful reply to their queries, our operators have to first update themselves about latest changes and procedures in Aadhaar, facilities and online services provided by UIDAI for residents.

Child Below 5 Years Gets A BLUE Coloured BAALAADHAAR

👉Which is valid till the child becomes 5 yr old.

👉A mandatory biometric update is required to reactivate the child’s Aadhaar. For this, take the child to any nearby Aadhaar Kendra

Aadhaar of One of The Parents along with the child’s Birth Certificate or the Discharge Slip you received from hospital is enough to enroll your child for Aadhaar.

Biometrics are not developed for children before 5 years of age.

Hence, a child’s Aadhaar data does not include biometric info like fingerprints and Iris scan.

Once the child crosses 5, biometrics need to be updated.

Blue colured ‘Baal Aadhaar’ can only be used up to the age of 5, after which it becomes invalid. A mandatory biometric update is required to reactivate the child’s Aadhaar.
