Circles are requested to allow booking of post examination material of UPSC Civil Services Examinations, 2022 packed in cloth/dosuti cover this time. Under no circumstances, parcels should be refused at any booking centre /Post Office.

Sub: Booking of post examination sensitive material of UPSC.
This has reference to Delhi Circle Email dated 06.05.2022 regarding booking and dispatch of post examination material pertaining to all UPSC examinations and instructions issued by Parcel Directorate for not accepting parcels covered /packed in dosuti/cloth.
2. UPSC has issued instructions that the post examination sensitive materials are enclosed in dosuti bags / cloth cover to ensure safe and secure transit and requested that all post examination parcels pertaining to Civil Services Examinations, 2022 and all future examination materials enclosed in dosuti bags/ cloth cover should be accepted by all designated post offices without any hindrance.
3. Post Office counters may face issue in acceptance of sensitive exam material packed in cloth cover/dosuti bag in the light of recent “Parcel Packaging Policy” which says that no parcel should be accepted wrapped in Cloth packaging.
4. Circles are requested to allow booking of post examination material of UPSC Civil Services Examinations, 2022 packed in cloth/dosuti cover this time. Under no circumstances, parcels should be refused at any booking centre /Post Office.
5. All nodal officers and booking centers / Post Offices must be informed immediately to do the needful as per para, 4 above.
