Subject: Promotion to Senior Time Scale (STS) of Indian Postal Service (IPoS), Group ‘A’ in the Level- 11 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 67 ,700 – 2,08,700) [Pre-revised PB-3: Rs. 15600-39100 + GP Rs. 6600/- for the year 2022 regarding.

The President is pleased to promote the following Junior Time Scale (JTS) Officers of Indian Postal Service (IPoS), Group ‘A’ to the Senior Time Scale (STS) of the Service on regular basis in the Level-11 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 67,700 – 2,08,700) [Pre revised PB:3 Rs. 15600-39100 + GP Rs. 6600/-] with effect from 01.01.2022.

2. In case the officers wish to choose the date for fixation of pay under FR-22 (I)(d(t), they should do so within one month from the date of issue of this order.

3. In case any vigilance/disciplinary case of the type referred to in O.M. No. 22011/12/97-Estt. dated 14.09.92 issued by the Department of Personnel & Training and circulated vide this office Memo No. 25-19/88-SPG dated 13.10.92 was pending
against the officer as on 01.01.2022 or is pending as on date, a detailed report should be sent to this office immediately and the officer concerned should not be promoted without obtaining specific orders from this office.

4. If the officer was on leave on the date of his/her actual promotion, the actual financial benefits of promotion will be effective from the date of joining after such leave.

5. Relevant charge reports may be sent to this office in due course.
