Subject: Resumption of booking of International EMS & LCAO mails for Australia and suspension of booking of all categories of mails for China.
In view of present situation in air connectivity to different destination due to Covid, following decisions are hereby taken:
1. Booking of International mail is resumed for following countries with immediate effect:
a) Australia – EMS & LCAO (Reg.) mails
b) Kuwait – All categories of mail
2. Booking of International mails for all categories destined to China is temporarily suspended with immediate effect till further orders.
3. Public and customers may be informed that delivery of articles, may not be possible as per the delivery standards mentioned in Citizens’ Charter of India Post or the standards agreed and published otherwise on the website of the Department.
