Subject : Replacement of Laptops under the plan scheme – IT Induction and Modernization.
Some circles has sought approval for replacement of Laptops supplied by Postal Directorate in 2010 to sub divisional / Divisional heads . In this regard , it is conveyed that Circles may replace laptops supplied by this office with new Laptops from within the funds already alloted to them vide this office Letters no. Te-40/4/2021-Tech-DOP dated 23.04.2021 under the heads of Accounts 5201.00.104.08.99.52 (Scheme) G/L code 5104089952 And 4552.00.224.08.99.52-NE (Scheme) G/L code 4455200030 for financial year 2021-22 for procurement of computer hardware and peripherals and to replenish the existing obsolete hardware for all the Departmental Postal officers /Admn office and Postal Accounts Offices under the scheme’ IT modernization project of Department of Posts’
2. It is requested to follow all due process for condemnation of old laptops and Procurement of laptops.
