Release of Frozen DA and DR to Central Government Employees and pensioners – Union Letter

Regarding the release of three installments of frozen DA and Dearness relief to central government employees and pensioners

It is humbly Submitted that the government has frozen the three installments of DA and DR to Central Government Employees and pensioners due from 01-01-2020,01-07-2020 and 01-01-2021 because of COVID19 pandemic.

Sir the government assured that as and when the decision will be taken to release the installments of DA due from July 2021, the rates of DA as effective from 01.01.2020, 01.07.2020 and 01.01.2021 will be restored prospectively and will be subsumed in the cumulative revised rates effective from 01.07.2021.

Sir, at present, due to Rising inflation, low- salaried employees and pensioners are passing through a period of economic hardship.

Therefore, you are requested to kindly release the last three instalments of DA immediately from July 1, 2021 because the withheld period is going to end on June 30,2021 , so that the Employees and pensioners can get financial relief.
