RICT Solution for Lid Open Error in the Device

While taking print in RICT Device, error shown as Lid is open even the printer lid is in closed condition. 

Solution:

This error showing due to software bugs. The printer has automatically been disabled in few cases. It can be fixed by applying the below mentioned steps through MDM portal.

  • Turn on the RICT Device and kept in the good network area with above 50% battery backup.
  • Login into MDM Portal as RICT Admin
  • Device Management >  Create Job
  • Enter Job Name and Select Job Type as Capability Management then click SAVE and CONTINUE
  • Add New Item and Select Peripheral as Printer and Operation as Enable 
  • Assign Single / Multiple Device(s) then Pres continue and Choose Date and time then click Finsh to create JOB
  • Once the Job has been created. Please press pull button.
  • After receiving the notification, wait few seconds for getting the issue resolved
