Subject:            Preventive measures to contain the spread of Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19)

The undersigned is directed to inform that Smt. Rita Mal. Under Secretary. Cash Section was found COVID-19 positive on 29th May, 2020, as per the report of Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi. She had last attended the office on 19/20 May, 2020. Subsequently, the Cash Section (Room No. 256. North Block) was closed and the staff/officers of Cash Section and Protocol Section were advised to get themselves tested for Covid-19. The Cash Section was deeply sanitized on 29.5.2020, 30.05.2020 and 01.06.2020. The staff of Cash Section and Protocol Section have undergone tests for Covid-19. Out of the total strength, 03 of the Staff members, Shri Lalit Mohan Pandey, ASO (Last attended office on 28.5.2020, Ms. Versha, MTS (last attended office on 29.5.2020) and Shri Vikas Kumar, MTS (last attended office on 28.5.2020) were found to be positive for Covid-19.

2.  As per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare dated 18.5.2020, the entire North Block (all sections of Department of Revenue) has been sanitized deeply on 01.06.2020. The rooms of North Block are being regularly sanitized. The Cash Section has been closed till further orders and infected staff members have been advised to update the Aarogya Setu app accordingly.

3.  All the officers/staff of the Department of Revenue who have come in close contact with the above Covid-19 positive persons are hereby advised to inform the respective Admn. Divisions and get themselves home quarantined up to 12.06.2020 and also undergo Covid-19 Test from any recognized private lab cc government hospital. They are also advised to update their Aarogya Set, app

4.  All the officers/staff of the Department are requested to strictly follow the directions of the Government of India, issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Home Affairs and Dept. of Personnel & Training from time to time in this regard, for taking all necessary precautions to prevent themselves from infection of Covid-19.

5.  This issues with the approval of Competent Authority.
