Dear Sir/Madam,
Please refer trail mail sent on 14/02/2020 requesting CPCs to instruct POs to complete the pending verifications in SBA type of accounts to ensure that the Annual Interest is posted in all accounts.
CPCs are aware that Interest will not get posted in the accounts if any verification is pending in these accounts. Inspite of clear instructions, there seems to be no major improvement in clearing verification of pendencies. Non posting of interest may result in public complaints which will increase work load in all levels.
Approx 18000 ACCOUNTS where verification is pending.
CPCs are requested to kindly coordinate with Post offices wherever possible to clear the pending verifications immediately to ensure that annual interest is posted in these accounts.
PLEASE TREAT THIS AS URGENT.
