Disabling the use of virtual scanning feature in CSI [Disabled in both IVPS & DPMS]

Existing instruction of the Department prevents use of virtual scanning for receipt of the articles in Speed Net vide Director (Mail Management) email dated 25/04/2013 ( Copy enclosed). However, it is learnt that since this feature has been kept in CSI, Some processing hubs/Post Offices are electronically receiving the articles entered in a bag without individually scanning each of them. This practice is creating operational difficulties and poses a rist in proper accounting of articles
