UIDAI have deployed two step enrolment client registration process in UIDAI server. In the new process, once the client is registered it would not be functional till it gets activated from backend.
New Registration Process is as below 1. After successful installation of client, it has to be registered with CIDR through ECA . There is no change in the first step. But client won’t proceed for other functions.
2. Post Registration to activate enrollment client functionalities, Registering entity i.e. REGISTRAR/EA have to share details of the machines in the attached format with their respective Regional Offices through an email.
3. Only after approval from RO & HQ , Tech Centre will activate the client from backend.
