Possibility for 4 Percent DA hike from January 2019
After the declaration of AICPIN for the month of July 2018, it is observed that there is a possibility for DA hike up to 4% from the month of January 2019.
The Labour Bureau issued the Press Release on 31-8-2018 to declare 10 points increase in the AICPIN for the month of July 2018. it was announced that Consumer Price Index for Industrial workers increased 10 Points and pegged at 301. It is the highest increase in last four years.
The sudden increase of 10 Points in AICPIN will reflect in DA hike from the Month of January 2019. Monthly two points increase in AICPIN for remaining months are enough to make this DA hike to go up to 4 % positively.
